A small farm built around nature, horses and good company.
Erica Flegg moved from the UK to this beautiful corner of south-west Normandy in 2017, bringing her horses to a ten-hectare smallholding of pasture, woodland and spring-fed ponds. La Volée is both embedded in the village of Ger and entirely private — set back from the road behind its traditional cider-apple orchard.
It’s an affordable venue, with or without catering, for teachers and facilitators hosting a small workshop or retreat — and an open, unhurried place to walk, ride, swim wild and slow right down.

The heart of the place
The valley is the heart of La Volée.
It shifts with every season — snow over its curves in winter, wild cherries in blossom in spring, ponds for swimming in summer, beeches turning gold in autumn. Everyone finds their own favourite part to walk or sit in.
